Strength & Solidarity LLC

Of the Townes Privacie & the Keeping of Recordes

Privacy Policy

Effective: May 29, 2026

BellusTowne ("the Town", "we", "us") is operated by Strength & Solidarity LLC ("the LLC"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. By using BellusTowne you agree to this Policy and the Terms of Use.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: email address, chosen Citizen name, optional display name and avatar.
  • Profile data: intake answers (motto, craft, pursuit, hopes, etc.) you submit at the Gatehouse.
  • Payment data: processed by Stripe; we receive only the customer ID, subscription/charge metadata, and last-four card digits — we never see full card numbers.
  • Chat & submissions: messages you post in rooms, petitions, and commissions.
  • Forge & familiar-craft data: when you use the Speaker, Listener, Limner, Scribe, or any other familiar at the Forge, we collect the prompt you submit (text, recorded audio for transcription, image inputs) and the output the familiar produces (synthesised audio, transcript, draft text, image). This includes the chosen voice or model and any conversation thread you build with a familiar.
  • Technical data: minimal request metadata (user-agent on form submissions) used solely for abuse prevention.

2. How we use it

  • Operate Citizenship, the Atelier, Audience Day, the Chambers, and other Town services.
  • Process payments and provide receipts.
  • Enforce the Charter and these Terms, respond to reports, moderate content.
  • Send transactional emails (sign-in, receipts).

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing

We share data only with vetted processors that help us run the Town:

  • Supabase (database & auth hosting)
  • Stripe (payments)
  • Lovable (app hosting infrastructure)
  • Google (optional sign-in)

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce these Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the LLC, our Citizens, or the public.

4. Your rights (GDPR / UK / CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" (we do neither). To exercise any right, write to privacy@strengthandsolidarity.com. We will respond within 30 days.

5. Children

BellusTowne is an 18+ community. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and accounts are gated by an age affirmation. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will delete the account.

6. Retention

We retain account and profile data while your Citizenship is active and for up to 24 months after deletion for legal/audit purposes. Payment records are retained for the period required by tax law (typically 7 years).

Forge prompts & outputs. Prompts you submit at the Forge and the outputs produced (synthesised audio, transcripts, drafts, images) are retained for up to twelve (12) months from the date of commission, for the sole purpose of abuse review by the Constabulary and to honour lawful holds or ongoing investigations. We may retain individual records longer where retention is required by law, a pending dispute, or an active safety investigation. Forge logs are not sold, are not shared with third parties for advertising or marketing, and are not used to train competing AI models. You may request earlier deletion of your Forge logs by writing to the address in §10 below, except where retention is required for a legal or safety purpose.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, Row-Level Security on the database, scoped server-only secrets, automated security scanning). No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users of any material breach as required by applicable law.

8. International transfers

Our processors may store data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective” date. Where the change materially expands the categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for which we process it, or the parties with whom we share it, we will additionally provide affected Citizens with at least thirty (30) days’ advance noticeby email to the address on file before the change takes effect.
