The Churches Quarter

Within this quarter the Worshippers gather, the Ministers preach, and the Church Founders keep the doors open. All traditions in good faith are honoured. The peace of BellusTowne is kept by keeping the chambers apart from the Schools, that neither may be mistaken for the other.

A Word on Standing

Every Citizen may sit at the back of any Church chamber without coin. To rise and speak — to pray aloud, to teach, to keep the rolls — one must stand in the Churches Guild. Three tiers be offered:

Worshipper's Pew

$16 / month

  • Speak in the public Church chamber
  • Attend services and gatherings
  • Earn the 'C' Worshipper mark on thy badge

Minister's Stole

$35 / month

  • All Worshipper rights (public chamber only)
  • Lead service and post sermons
  • Be addressed as Minister within the Quarter

Church Founder

$295 / year

  • All Minister rights
  • Sole admittance to the private Church Founders' Chamber
  • Precedence in Churches Guild votes
  • One full yeare of standing in the Guild

Inner Chamber

The Church Founders' Chamber

A consecrated inner chamber where Church Founders may invoke the presence of Lady Bellus and counsel one another. Sealed against all but those who have stood the Rite.

Sealed until the Rite of Standing

Dues recur monthly or annually as marked. Cancel any time from thy Treasury portal. A 5% Towne Charter Levy is taken from Guild revenues for the upkeep of the Guild chamber and payment rail — disclosed at checkout. See the Towne Charter for the full custom.
