A Word from the Keepers of the Cinema

The Cinema of BellusTowne keepeth six Genre Halls, a grand Feature Presentation Hall, and an Indie Wing for the works of outside makers. Each weeke a newe two-houre feature is shewn, and every Hall holdeth its featured episode of the houre.

Every screening is reviewed against the Communitie Guidelines and the rules of To Keepe the Peace ere it be shewn. The Cinema holdeth her schedule to the dignitie of the Towne.

Three tiers of original, commissioned video work, shot and cut by the Lady Bellus's own hand outside the walls of the Towne and delivered as a finished MP4. Each Commission is a single one-time purchase — never a subscription. No more than five (5) Videos shall be accepted into the Lady's queue in any given weeke; once filled, the queue closeth until the next weeke openeth.

Commissioned Videos are the onlie hand-produced Video-Goods sold within the Towne and are reserved unto the Cinema. The 5-per-weeke cap protecteth the Lady's lens from over-burdening. Refund policie per Charter, Article VIII.

Submission Fees (one-time, 30-day window)

Launch-Honest: submission is free for the first 90 days of the Indie Wing and whilst MAC are under 1,000. The fees below are the standing-rate schedule once the Towne is past launch tier.

  • Indie Short Submission — Free at launch · $25/film at Tier II. Up to ten minutes. Reviewed and screened for 30 dayes in the apt Genre Hall.
  • Indie Feature Submission — Free at launch · $49/film at Tier II. Ten to sixty minutes. 30-day screening window with dedicated programming.
  • Full Feature Submission — Free at launch · $99/film at Tier II. Sixty minutes and upward. 30-day window, lobby poster slot included.

Premiere Slot & Revenue Share

  • Marquee Premiere Slot — $49/week (launch · $499/week at Tier III). A specific weeke in the Feature Hall, sharing the marquee with the Lady's owne Feature. Limited; the Lady's originals always pick first.
  • Rev-Share on Creator Rentals — 30% platform / 70% creator. Viewers may rent submitted films at the creator's set price ($2–$5). The Cinema keepeth 30%. Tip-jar splits at 85/15 to the creator. Merch through the lobby splits 80/20.

The Marquee tier guaranteeth that a creator receiveth a Feature Hall slot each quarter — not which weeke. Calendaring rests with the Cinema's keepers. Submission fees are non-refundable once reviewe beginneth; refunded onlie if declined ere reviewe. See Charter, Article XIX.

The Cinema is a standing Building of BellusTowne. All ticketing, passes, sponsorships, and Collector's Wares are sold here at the Cinema itself. Cinema structure, submissions, and the Indie Wing are governed by Charter Articles XVIII (Of the Cinema) and XIX (Of the Indie Wing). Only Lady Bellus's own offerings remain reserved to the Treasury.
