Where townsfolk barter wares, list services, and back one another's ventures. Governed by fair-trade custom, the Town's house rules, and the four-member Merchants Guild elected each year. Merchants take a monthly Stall Subscription — Stallkeeper $19, Shoppekeeper $39, or Guildhouse $99 — and the Towne taketh a 5% Transaction Toll upon every completed sale, disclosed plainly at checkout. Merchants may also purchase Promoted Wares placement at $10 per week per featured item, marked plainly as 'Promoted.' The Merchants Guild offers voluntary Guild Dues with the letter 'M' on every Badge: Guildsman $15 (green — Guild Member), Champion $35 (blue — Hero), Grand Champion $75 (gold). A 5% Towne Charter Levy is taken from Guild revenues for the upkeep of the Guild chamber, payment rail, and governance services — disclosed at checkout. Purchases of any kind may be made wherever offered in the Towne — only Lady Bellus offerings are reserved to the Treasury.
The Schools
Learning, masters, and apprentices.
Shifu guide apprentices. Scholarships are raised. Spaces for tithing, gathering, and pilgrimage — open to all traditions practiced in good faith. Where votes are called, motions are read, Guild elections are tallied on December 9th, and new Guild members are announced on Bellus Day, December 13th. The Towne also offers three monthly Social Tiers — honorary courtesy titles only, with no office or governance authority: Respected Member ($5/mo), Duke or Duchess ($10/mo), and Lord or Lady ($20/mo).
