The Market Square is a venue. Each storefront is owned, stocked, priced, fulfilled, and warranted by an independent third-party vendor. BellusTowne and Strength & Solidarity LLC are not a party to transactions between patrons and vendors, do not take possession of vendor inventory, and are not responsible for the quality, legality, safety, accuracy, or delivery of any vendor’s goods or services, nor for any loss, damage, refund, or dispute arising therefrom.
Disputes are between you and the vendor. See the Terms of Use (Marketplace section) for the full agreement.

Every lease holder still signs the Vendor Charter and submits a storefront application below. Lease payments establish the rent line; approval still rests with the Council.
Lease + Towne Toll. The monthly lease above is the rent for the storefront slot. A separate five-percent (5%) Towne Toll is also retained from each completed sale, as set out in §3 of the Vendor Charter.
Tradesfolk, makers, and proprietors of small ventures may apply to lease a storefront in the Market Square. Successful applicants sign the Vendor Charter (a separate agreement) and assume full responsibility for their shop, their goods, and their customers.
BellusTowne reserves the right to refuse or revoke any storefront at the sole discretion of the Council, including for fraud, illegal goods, unsafe practices, intellectual-property complaints, or breach of the Vendor Charter.

The Master Merchants' Chamber
A guarded backroom where Master Merchants weigh ledgers, set fair-trade custom, and arbitrate disputes of coin. Opened only to those raised by the Rite of Standing.

The Tithe Wares
A bounded set of wares set apart from the rest of the Square. For each Tithe ware, Strength & Solidarity LLC donates the net proceeds of the sale to Veritas Equitatae, a federally recognized 501(c)(3) serving veterans and impoverished gifted youth. Net proceeds means the gross sale price less the payment processor's fee less a reasonable handling fee covering fulfillment, accounting, and donation processing.
A Tithe purchase is a commercial transaction. The buyer receives the product and does not receive a tax-deductible gift receipt for this purchase. For a deductible gift, donate directly to Veritas Equitatae. See the full disclosure on the Veritas Equitatae page.
